The Austrian MotoGP was a former motorbike race, held a total of 26 times until 2003. The first race took place at the Zeltweg military airfield, then moved to the Österreichring circuit. Starting from 1997, the event was held at the A1-Ring, which was developed from the Österreichring, located in Spielberg. The Grand Prix returned in the 2014 season, and the track was renamed to Red Bull Ring.
